Update from the road

I’ve a passion for Cars and keep looking for information on it. Today, I checked if I could find more info by entering ‘Plymouth Fury’ in Google and found this:

After that it was another sorry journey home as the clutch went dodgy on the Fury UK-mobile - we managed to limp home but it’s in the garage for some TLC i. e. a new clutch. . . . ouch! … After that it’s Friday 10th July, down to the South West again to Plymouth, White Rabbit, new one again for us….

Jeeps could soon be built in India

This morning I used Technorati to find more info on ‘Jeep Commander’ so I could post it into ‘Jeep’. And this is one of the first results:

Filed under: SUVs, Plants/Manufacturing, Jeep, India No other brand is as patriotic as Jeep, boasting the WWII-era General Purpose military vehicle that helped win the war for the Allies. As it stands, current Jeeps are all U.S. made, with the Grand Cherokee and Commander hailing from the Detroit area, the Wrangler and Liberty being assembled in Toledo, Ohio and the Patriot and Compass coming from Illinois. That all seems set to change, though, as rumors swirl regarding India’s Argentum Motors

I decided to blog this result under ‘Jeep’. Let me know what you think of this…

People are always asking me to write more often, well here you go, I looked up some information on ‘Chrysler Crossfire’.

Michigan Radio’s Political Analyst Jack Lessenberry is rooting for Chrysler… Hear Audio Story I have a confession to make. Ive tried to remain neutral as I have assessed the battles for the future of the auto industry. Ive never owned a Chrysler, and have seldom driven one. But I have to say I have an emotional soft spot for Chrysler, and want them to make it. That wasnt always the case. Back in 1979, when I was a young reporter on the fringes of Chryslers first nea

Geneva 2008: Audi Q7 V12 TDI Coastline redefines "flagship"

People are always asking me to blog more often, well here you go, I looked up some info on ‘Mercury Villager’.

Filed under: Concept Cars, SUVs, Geneva Motor Show, Audi Click to view the Audi Q7 V12 TDI Coastline in hi-res The Audi Q7 Coastline is not the first attempt at infusing an automobile with a nautical theme, but it very well might be the most exquisite execution we’ve seen to date. Forget about automotive mishaps like the Mercury Villager Nautica edition and the Plymouth Breeze, this concept rivals even the teak-decked Rolls-Royce Phantom DropHead Coupe for dockside prowess. In fact, a Masera

2008 Toyota Sienna LE Review

Today I was digging for some info on ‘Toyota Sienna’ and came across the following paragraph:

When I drove a Buick Terraza around Berkeley last fall, I was overwhelmed by the sense of occasion that came with it. The car had so much ghetto cachet I almost fell in love with it. It reinforced all of the car enthusiast prejudices I harbored about minivans (i.e., they suck). And for that, I thanked it. The Toyota Sienna, on the other hand, proved to be a bigger challenge. Each time I wanted to hate some aspect of the minivan, I found myself pleasantly surprised. I don’t think I’m giving anyt

The Cozy Z

Today I was digging for some info on ‘Nissan 280ZX’ and came across the following paragraph:

A line of affordable Nissan sports cars soon carried the Fair Lady moniker (which was later spelt as Fairlady) … So along the way, the Fairlady Z name was reserved for the Japanese market but the rest of the world knew the sports car by its three-digit classification such as 2 40Z, 280ZX and 300ZX….
